AN ANALYSIS OF MAXIMUM UNIAXIAL CRITICAL LOADS FOR SIMPLY SUPPORTED RECTANGULAR LAMINATES

The deyendenne of the uniaxial critical load for simply supported rectangular nmlti-ply laminated platos ou the state of their laminated layers is analyzed and explained.To increase the critical load of the plate the best form of lamination is indicated.Lamination angles corresponding to the maximum critical loads given in the calculated examples of this paper agree well with what is in Ref.3where the optimality criteria is used.
